Rental conditions
The terms you accept when you book a Nexusvia vehicle.
These conditions apply to every hire from Nexusvia Rent-A-Car Limited.
Driver licence. Every hire requires a valid driver licence. The number and expiry recorded on your booking are checked against the licence presented at handover, and the licence is photographed as a record that the check happened.
Hire period. Hire is by the day. The minimum hire is 24 hours, with no fixed maximum. Collection and return take place inside our trading hours.
Fuel. Dry hire is the standard. We ask that the vehicle is returned at a quarter tank or above; this is a request and carries no charge. Wet hire supplies a full tank at collection for a fee charged once per hire.
Bond. A bond is payable at the point of hire. Our office quotes the amount for your vehicle when the booking is confirmed.
Condition. The vehicle is photographed and its odometer and fuel level recorded at handover and again on return. Any new damage is recorded at return and assessed by our office; our drivers do not quote repair costs at the kerbside.
Delivery. Delivery and collection are free, to our five named points or our Gerehu depot, inside trading hours.
Fuel
Dry hire is our standard. We ask that the vehicle is returned at a quarter tank or above — that is a request, and returning below it carries no charge and no penalty.
Wet hire, where we supply a full tank at collection, is optional and is charged once per hire.
We never calculate a fuel charge from the gauge. If you ask us to arrange a refill during your hire, we add what we actually spend to your invoice and tell you the amount.
